16th was a busy night

The 16th of October was a busy night for the club. Two matches at home and one away. Despite this busy schedule the captains must be credited for organising their teams with a minimum of fuss.

The 3rd mens started a new era under Can Truong, blooding some youth and some new players. However they had an extremely tough start against a strong Forest 3rd team, illustrated in a 9-0 defeat.

The 2nd ladies under Emma Green also had a tough start against Beeston Fields. A tight 6-3 loss will give them encouragement for the season ahead. It was also good to see Jane Steventon back at the club making her second debut.

The 2nd Mixed entertained a much changed Phoenixwood side and quickly exercised the demons of last season with an 8-1 victory.
